Amarsingh Dilipsingh Chandele is a former Indian sportsperson, sports administrator and the Founder, Director and Secretary General of Youth Games Council India (YGCI), a national level organization established with the objective of promoting grassroots sports development among youth across India. Amarsingh has been instrumental in conceptualizing and expanding YGCI’s reach to rural, semi-urban and under-represented communities. His leadership has focused on creating a transparent and inclusive platform that enables young athletes to participate in structured sporting events regardless of their socio-economic background. With a long-term commitment to youth empowerment through sports, he has overseen the successful organization of several district, state and national level competitions. These initiatives have not only increased the participation of athletes but also inculcated values ​​such as discipline, teamwork and healthy living among the youth population. Amarsingh Chandele is known for his grassroots-oriented approach and advocacy for merit-based selection, gender inclusivity and athlete development at the community level. Through their efforts, Youth Games Council India has emerged as a credible and growing entity within India's broader youth sports ecosystem.
